Spinal Cord

The spinal cord is the main pathway for all peripheral nerves coming in and out of the brain.  Signals travel back and forth for us to move our muscles or feel pain.

Pain Down Arms Or Legs

When there is a disease in the back it can affect the spinal cord and nerves coming off of the cord.  This can cause numerous symptoms including weakness, numbness, bowel or bladder dysfunction, and most commonly pain shooting down the arms or legs.
