Colon Cancer Coalition
Last year the Coalition granted out over $100,000 to the Charlotte Community. This event supports patients and their families with colorectal cancer, helps to remove barriers for screenings, supports research, develops educational programs for screening, detection, and treatment for colorectal cancer. Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation/Patrons’ Ball
MRA has been the presenting sponsor of the Patrons’ Ball for several years. This event is to support the Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation. In 2019, the Patron’s Ball raised funds for the new linear accelerator in the Wallace Cancer Center.
Hospitality House of Charlotte
MRA is proud to sponsor the Hospitality House of Charlotte. They offer affordable lodging for families of seriously ill loved ones who are fighting cancer, awaiting transplant, or recovering from an injury at Charlotte-area hospitals. They provide a private bedroom and bath, kitchen, stocked pantry, family room, parking, laundry facilities, and free Wi-Fi.
Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Classic
MRA is a sponsor for the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic. The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce promotes business alliances and adds valuable benefits to its members. The proceeds for this event benefit the chamber programs and community events like the MHCC College Scholarship program.
Ride to Survive-First Annual Poker Run Against Cancer
MRA was proud to sponsor this event as Carolina Oncology and the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 106 hosted their first Ride to Survive. The proceeds will benefit cancer patients in Rowan County.
HeartBright Invitational
MRA has participated in this event for many years. The HeartBright Foundation is a local charity clinic in Charlotte, NC. Their mission is to promote healthy lifestyles and provide preventive cardiology programs for local disadvantaged communities.
Spiritus Masters Golf Tournament
The focus of the Spiritus Project is to raise awareness for adult cystic fibrosis and lend financial assistance to those in need.
John A. Campbell Memorial Golf Classic Novant Health
The golf tournament is hosted by the Novant Rowan Medical Center Foundation. With the support of sponsors like MRA, Rowan Medical Center has added a 3D Mammography to both the outpatient imaging center and the new mobile mammography unit.
