The Women’s Imaging section of Mecklenburg Radiology Associates is seeking to add a fellowship-trained breast radiologist with special interest and training in breast imaging and intervention to accommodate growth in our practice. Outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills desired.

Mecklenburg Radiology Associates (MRA) in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a fellowship-trained radiologist to join our Body Imaging Section to accommodate growth in our practice. This is a partnership-track position for a team-oriented physician with fellowship training in Body Imaging, Abdominal Imaging, or equivalent. Dedicated training, expertise, and interest in abdominal MRI and advanced CT are required – including CT colonoscopy, rectal cancer staging MR, prostate MR, etc. The MRA Body Imaging Section is supported by a specialized 3-D lab, and uses the latest technology in both CT and MR including multiple dual-source scanners. The applicant should have sufficient general radiology skills to participate in evening call.
Abdominal Imaging Section
- 12 fellowship-trained radiologists.
- Cover approximately 10-11 weekends per year.
- Primarily staff Body Imaging slots with a smaller fraction of general radiology work.
- Multiple Advanced Practice Providers aid with management of clinical service and routine procedures.
- Work with a growing group of highly engaged subspecialty-trained medical and surgical colleagues treating a wide variety of pathology.

The neuroradiology section of Mecklenburg Radiology Associates in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking to add a fellowship-trained diagnostic neuroradiologist to accommodate growth in our practice. This is a partnership-track position for a team-oriented board-certified or eligible neuroradiologist skilled in adult and pediatric brain, spine, and ENT imaging. Experience in advanced neuroimaging techniques (perfusion, fMRI, DTI) is preferred. The applicant should have sufficient general radiology skills to participate in evening call.
Neuroradiology Section
- 12 neuroradiologists including 9 diagnostic and 3 interventional neuroradiologists.
- Weekend subspecialized call shifts, approximately 11-12 weekends per year.
- After-hours subspecialty pager call approximately 1:9.
- A mix of neuroradiology and general radiology with about 80% subspecialty neuroradiology.
- Work with a rapidly growing group of highly engaged subspecialty-trained neurosurgery, neurology, and ENT colleagues treating a wide variety of pathology.

The Emergency Radiology section of Mecklenburg Radiology Associates in Charlotte, NC is seeking to add an overnight emergency radiologist to accommodate growth in our practice and the planned retirement of a section member. MRA is an independent physician-owned practice. We offer both fully remote and hybrid (remote/on-site) options with flexible scheduling as well as competitive compensation. We provide 24/7 radiology coverage for 6 hospitals, including a 624-bed tertiary care hospital that is one of 2 comprehensive stroke centers in the region.
Emergency Radiology Section
- 8 dedicated ER radiologists (2nd shifts supplimented by other radiologists in the group) radiologists
- Overnight (3rd) shifts staffed by 2 overlapping members of Emergency Radiology section
- Evening (2nd) shifts staffed by members of Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, MSK, and Body/CV sections.
- Minimum 120 shifts (1 on, 2 off) required for full-time employement benefits. However, flexibility allowed for fewer/more shifts as requested.

- 3rd (overnight) shifts staffed by 2 members of the Emergency Radiology section.
