MRA is pleased to announce the addition of three providers to our growing team.
Mecklenburg Radiology Associates (MRA) welcomes Joseph Simon, DO. He began serving as a women’s imaging radiologist in November of 2023.
Dr. Simon completed his breast imaging fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his residency at Detroit Medical Center after attending medical school at Michigan State University. Prior to joining MRA, he served as a Senior Staff Breast Imaging Radiologist at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
MRA also welcomes Brittany Sugimoto, PA-C. She joined the team as a Physician Assistant in October of 2023.
Ms. Sugimoto completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio in 2012. Prior to joining the MRA team, she served as a Physician Assistant at various radiology groups in the region becoming proficient in performing radiology studies and procedures utilizing a variety of imaging modalities including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and computed tomography.
MRA also welcomes Stephan Rothwell, PA-C. He joined the team as a Physician Assistant in November of 2023.
Mr. Rothwell completed his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Wingate University in Wingate, NC in 2010. Prior to joining MRA, he served as a Physician Assistant at Levine Cancer Center, Mission Hospital, and Surgical Specialists of Charlotte gaining extensive clinical and technical expertise.
